Basement General - section switch plate
The electricity was done in the basement ages ago. Once we finished the drywall and painting everything we went to go get an outlet cover for our main switch box for the living room and realized they did not make anything that fit. I even spent about 2 hours on the internet looking. I found a two switch two slider cover (not jumbo) that would work if I rearranged the order of the light switches but I wasnt about to do that. You can imagine the rats nest I have created with 4 light switches in a single box. Instead we settled on a sectional cover. Its not pretty but it works. Unfortunately they didnt make it in a jumbo size so we had to spend some time patching the drywall around the box so that the switchplate would completely cover the hole. Nothing is ever easy!
