Basement

Growing up my families basement was a place for recreation. It was a room that grew up with us kids. At first it was a gigantic play room. Then it was a TV room. Finally a Mutlimedia and Pool Table room. Regardless of what it was to us kids, to the parents it was always the laundry room and work room (workshop). If a basement can be all these rooms then I barely need any above ground levels at all.

That is why Nikki and I are so eager to finish our basement, so that our house feels complete. We definitly have a long way to go though. You can keep up to date on our progress by reading the subsections of our basement section.
