The House

Basement General - rerouting plumbing

The shutoff valve for the outside water faucet was constantly leaking on our new tile floor. Nikki and I replaced it and while we were at it half the plumbing in the house. All in all we rerouted the plumbing in the basement ceiling in preparation for putting a finished ceiling in the basement and at the same time upgraded from 1/2 inch copper to 3/4 inch cpvc. Now we have 3/4 inch pipe from inlet to the house all the way to our outdoor hose.

the new hose valve. I love 90 degree shutoffs, they are so much faster and more convenient.
