Stayed at Jackson Lake State Park where we enjoyed the frozen lake, the easy-going prarie hiking trail, and the 1.5 mile off-road track. The kids must taken their UTV around the track at least 25 times. |

Stayed at Lake Trinidad and did some hiking. Then we toured Bent's Old Fort before staying at the John Martin State Park, where we did some more hiking. |

Stayed at Camp Dick in Colorado. We hiked on the Middle St. Vrain Trail between Camp Dick and Peaceful Campground and it was goregous. We also hiked on a couple miles of Buchanan Pass, which was equally pretty. We originally planned on taking the Disco down the Middle St. Vrain Road OHV trail, however it looked a little too intense for our taste. Instead, we went off-roading at the trail in between Camp Dick and Peaceful Campground. The trail was called Bunce School road. We went about a mile before we got to a section that was a little too chanellenging for a family adventure, so we turned back.
Ultimately our trip was cut short due to fires. The first day the Cameron Peak fire was pouring smoke into the campground. We tolerated this and had a good time regardless. The second day however a brand new fire, the Cal-wood fire, flared up extremely close to us. We had to evacuate the campsite. The road back to Lyons was closed due to the fire so we had to go south to Nederland than to Boulder and back to Longmont. I thought the Cal-wood wire was extremely close to Camp Dick, but as it turns out it was much closer to Lyons and Loveland. We could see the fires from 119 as we left Boulder for Longmont. |

Stayed at Lake Ogalala in Nebraska and did some canoeing. We also took a day trip over to the main lake, Lake McConaughy which was extremely busy but allowed camping right on the beach. |

Stayed at the Grant Campground in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. We saw Old Faithful, Painters Pots, and many more attractions. We swam in the lake, went for some hikes, and had a great time with the Knox family. On the way home we stayed the night in Thermopolis WY. |

Stayed at the Crystral Reservoir at Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming. We did some fishing, swiming, canoeing, and bike riding. |

Stayed at the Rincon campground near Salida Colorado. We did lots of swimming and a little fishing. We even explored downtown Salida. |

Stayed at the Carter Lake southern campground near-ish to Loveland CO. We did some hiking and hanging out with Felix, Spartacus (his dog), and the Leibings. |

Stayed at the Moraine Park Campground (I think) in Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes CO. We rode bikes, hikes, and saw plenty of wild life. |

Road trip out to San Diego to buy the RV. On the way back, we stopped for the night at some RV park, our first, outside of Las Vegas. |
