2006 Mazda 3
When Nikki moved out to Maryland she was driving a 1994 Toyota Camry. It was a nice car but it had 180,000 miles on it already. It
needed some work and it just didn't make sense to put the money into the car. It was shame too considering the body and interior were
in such good shape. Nikki wanted to get a new car, not just new to her but a new car. This was to be her first new car to date.
After shopping around, the Mazda 3 was the winner. It was the right size, the right color, the right features, and the right price. Over
the 4.5 years Nikki owned this car it was a very reliable and fun car to drive. It made the trip back to Illinois several times and
was always a comfortable road car.
Nikki finally did sell the Mazda 3. Although it was still running great with 65,000 miles on it, the car was out of warranty. She wanted
something newer and larger. I wanted her to get something with a trailer hitch so I could sell the Bronco. We traded in the Mazda 3 for
a Ford Edge. The Mazda was a great car for us and this continued through the trade in with its abnormally high resale value. Thanks for
all those years and miles Mazda!
