Replaced various bolts, installed a Titan FF/FC/S2 gearbox adapter ring for 2 or 3 bolt starters. I have no idea why this transmission adapter would be necessary. There is nothing in the records before or after about changing out the transmission. Not sure why this adapter was needed. I suspect Jon Lexau used this to fit a Hewland Mk9 5-speed gearbox to the Ford Zetec (Focus) engine in his 1972 Europa as stated in one of his Youtube videos and this actually has nothing to do with the Esprit. |

Invoice is for a secondary fuel injector kit stage 1, and also an unassembled mem-cal adapter. Both from WC Engineering LLC. It looks likes WC Engineering is still around and provided remapped ECUs for high boost and smoother idle. It looks like the secondary injectors are just that, secondary to the 4 primary injectors. The secondaries need upgrading in higher boost applications. It is not clear exactly what level of tune was installed on this Esprit. |
