sonett - replaced air filter, edelbrock pro-flo 1002
I got an air filter from MSS as part of their induction kit. The air filter was unbranded and had an interesting triangular shape. During one of my rebuilds I got some grease on the foam filter element. Well I was recently starting the engine and got a little backfire, which caught that foam on fire. There was a ton of smoke, freaked me out.
Time for a new air filter. I thought it would be hard to find but actually my air filter was some sort of knock off of a Edelbrock Pro-Flo 1002 foam filter. My local auto parts store had the filter in stock, crazy!
