The car developed a grinding on braking. I only put a few miles on it in this state. I checked the front brake pads and found that one side was worn down to the backing plate. This isn't hard to do as these are sintered pads.

I picked up some EBC greenstuff brake pads from Classic Saab Racing. Installed the pads and am back on my way.

I will eventually need to replace those rotors too. One got chewed up by the old pad backing plate.
