Due to the shape of my keyboard phone, I can't use the rubber strap to get the extra insurance my phone won't pop out. I am happy to report that I used the mount, sans rubber strap, on an intermediate off-road trail and my phone never came loose. I put the bike down probably 7 times. My phone stayed secure. This mount works great.
