ts250 - troubleshooting intermittent spark
The bike has developed a problem were it does not reliably produce a spark. When it does work, it works fine. Most of the time there is simply no spark at all. I found that when there is no spark, there is no voltage going to the coil. I figured there could be something wrong with the ignition control. There was a working on ebay for so cheap that it was worth it to buy if only to eliminate that part as a potential fault.
I hooked up the new-to-me ignition control module. Unfortunately I see the same behavior as before, sometimes I get spark, sometimes not.
