Recently my BPC valve burned up causing my car to constantly overboost and hit fuel cutoff. I installed a brand new BPC valve but immediately had the same problems. I checked the new valve and sure enough it had burnt up. The most likely culprit was the ECU. Apparently one of the MOSFET amplifiers in the ECU can fail causing the BPC valve to take a constant 13 volts rather than a lower voltage sin wave. Rather than trying to desolder and replace the mosfet I decided to replace the entire ECU. The new one is courtesy of ebay from a 1996 9000 automatic. The ECU is on its way to Jak to be reflashed with my original program so I can drop it in place. Pictures
