The bike was seeping fuel from the carb. It was also not idling well. It would run fine at higher throttle but if you let off the gas, it was drop. hunt, then die. Adjustnig the idle speed just made it hunt for longer before dieing. The inconsistency has me baffeled. Espeically because it was running fine be parked (famous last words).

I thorougly ultrasonic cleaned the carb. No change. I then got a carb rebuild kit and installed the new seals and gaskets. I didn't swap out the jets or needles because the original OEM ones look fine.

The bike isn't seeping fuel any more. But the bad idle is still a problem. I will have to put some more time into this, or just buy a new carb. After all, its only one carb, they are still available, and my time is actually worth something though you wouldn't know it from reading my vehicle maintenance logs.
