The odometer and trip meter stopped working. The speedometer itself was still working. Turns out this is a somewhat common problem. The speedometer is driving by a magnet while the odometer is driven by gears.The gear broke.
Jack Ashcraft still rebuilds these things. I had him clean up the tachometer too. It was foggy on the inside of the glass. I must say, he did a great job cleaning these things up. And of course they work great.
Perhaps I should have him clean up the fuel gauge too. Maybe next time.
